If you are one of those people who likes their vehicles big and bad to the bone, then Ford has something for you \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.megarexxtrucks.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the MegaRaptor<\/a>, made in conjunction with MegaRexx.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Super Duty pickup isn\u2019t just big, it\u2019s massive. It is so huge that you won\u2019t be able to reach the middle of the roof to brush off snow. With a starting MSRP of $135,000, the MegaRaptor is not exactly budget-friendly. But it isn\u2019t meant to be. That means you can get it on the F-250, F-350, or F-450. It will also come with a 4.0- or 4.5-inch lifted suspension and a clamshell style front end. This beast rides around on massive 46-inch tires, which altogether weigh about 400 pounds per corner including hub adapters. Each tire is rated for 12,300 pounds, which is great since this truck weighs about 10,000 pounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The vehicle is remarkably proportional give its regeared final drive ratio of 4.88:1 and the corrected speedometer. You will need some visual reference points while driving since this thing is high off the ground. In fact, the floorboards sit nearly three feet from the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Its_Like_to_Drive\"><\/span>What It\u2019s Like to Drive<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The MegaRaptor is designed to haul plenty of weight, including its own. The steering system will give you a good feel for the wheel-and-tire assemblies. What\u2019s more, the brakes will make you feel as though you are hauling a hefty payload even when the truck bed is totally empty. However, when you plan your moves ahead of time, the MegaRaptor exhibits enjoyable driving dynamics on the open road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_MegaRexx_Works\"><\/span>How MegaRexx Works<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022 alone, MegaRexx upfitted about 40 new trucks. MegaRexx\u2019s owner, Aaron Richardet, feels that the Super Duty is the perfect fit for the MegaRaptor since it is such a beefy pickup to begin with. Instead, you get confronted by those massive 46-inch XZL tires that are mounted onto Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP, for short) wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several body widths to choose from, but the Smasher front bumper is standard issue. Options include a locomotive horn. Yes, you read that right \u2013 a locomotive horn. You\u2019ll need it to let everyone know you\u2019re coming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_To_Order_a_MegaRaptor\"><\/span>How To Order a MegaRaptor<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you look on MegaRexx\u2019s website, they do not offer any pricing information, but you should expect it to run into the $130k range. If you get the base F-250 Super Duty Platinum with ots 6.7-liter turbodiesel engine, you\u2019re looking at about $80k just for the pre-modded truck. The mods will add up quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take note, MegaRexx only does full rebuilds, and it can take them about two or three months to do one. The MegaRaptor lives up to the image its name generates. Its enormous wheels and lowered suspension make it one monster of a pickup truck.
